Corbel replacements, wood corbels cracked, split and peeling then switch to corbels made of the metal steel, and never replace your corbels again. With 2" or wider metal corbels the hole pattern is too wide to fit the wall stud, forcing you to pay your contractor more to mount a thin piece of wood, so the screws through your corbel have something to mount to, but not as strong as a stud. Steel rated at 36,000 PSI. Be aware, some companies who outsource to partners, charge extra fees for all these!
