Wolves howl to warn other wolves to stay out of the pack's territory, they're an endangered species in every state except Alaska and Minnesota.   The wolf is classified as a threatened species in Minnesota.   Most wolves live in packs, but some wolves leave the pack and become "lone wolves."   A lone wolf travels alone until it finds a mate to have pups to form their own pack.

      Another wildlife swings has four grown wolves and two pups. While the parents are howling at the moon, the two pups are wondering, what's all the fuss about? Later, they will join in on the family tradition of howling and running with the family pack.   If you love wolves and have never seen the movie called "Never Cry Wolf," you should see it.  It shows the lifestyle of these magnificent creatures.  Each year, two to three hundred species of animals are in danger of becoming extinct.
